We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise which could mean that a child will need to miss a day of school. The fundamental principles for defining ‘exceptional’ are rare, significant, unavoidable and short. And by 'unavoidable' we mean an event that could not reasonably be scheduled at another time. 

Please download our Leave of Absence Request form below and read the accompanying extract on Holiday Absence from our attendance policy before completing. 

Once you have completed the form, please return it to the school office. You will then receive notification whether the absence has been authorised or not via a letter from our Chair of Trustees
