This term, our Year 4 children visited Bishops Wood and upon arrival, were immersed in the world of Anglo-Saxons! This amazing experience sent the children back in time to a period of fierce warriors, skilled Saxon craftspeople, and rich cultural Saxon traditions. The children explored Saxon home steads, through to clothing and food gathering; they handled traditional artifacts and experienced crafts like weaving and jewellery making. What a great day!
